Regional Destination Focus Group Sessions

Citizens were invited to attend Regional Destination Focus Group sessions, on November 30 and December 1.

Sessions consisted of highly interactive and focused industry discussions. They were a maximum of two hours long and presented a chance for tourism industry stakeholders to work together on critical high level topics.

During these sessions participants:

  • Examined results of the industry-wide Regional Baseline Assessment Survey
  • Discussed the 2018-2022 Strategic Tourism Plan (STP) Sustainable Destination Development Strategies and implications
  • Identified the most important implementation issues
  • Discussed actions and priorities
