Importance of Shared Vision

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about the ‘Importance of having a Shared Vision’. The question was:

How important do you think it is to have a SHARED VISION for the future of Smithville?

Scale: 1 = Not Important; 10 = Highly Important

The majority of respondents felt that it was highly important to have a shared vision for Smithville.
An overwhelming number of respondents who were in the 10-20 years age grouping, felt neither that it was not important or highly important about how important it was to have a shared vision. This neutral response could indicate a lack of future thinking or experience regarding the need for a shared vision, looking out to the future
