Strategic Positioning

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about Strategic Positioning. The question was:

‘The community of Trotwood is a unique small community on the edge of Dayton. In addition, it is close to a major highway and airport that gives direct and easy access to the nation. What do you think should be the ‘’ of the community over the coming years?’

Scale: 1 = ‘The community protects the self-contained feel and tight-knit local community’; 10 = ‘The community leverages it proximity to I-70 and Dayton, positioning itself as a vibrant small community that is connected to Dayton and the world’.

Key things to note:

  • The responses show a strong desire to be connected to the broader Dayton and regional community.
