The 2018 NADO Training Conference was an in-depth training conference for NADO members and its stakeholders. With over 40 plenary and breakout sessions, learning labs, conversation cafes and mobile workshops, the program allowed for significant networking and learning opportunities among members. This year’s Opening Plenary Session featured David Beurle, CEO of Future iQ. The keynote took a deep dive into important emerging trends in the areas of regional development, urbanization, climate change, food and agriculture, manufacturing and sustainability. These topics will all have a direct impact on how development organizations may need to adapt and operate in the coming decades. To find out how these macro trends may affect NADO, what to anticipate, and how you can be ready, please review the presentation below.
