Regional Brand Workshops

Snohomish County Regional Brand Workshops

The Snohomish County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT) and the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau (SCTB) invite you to join tourism partners and area leaders in your communities for the Regional Branding Workshop Series.

This free half-day workshop event will be led by Future iQ, an international sustainable tourism consultant firm, and the Milltown Creative Company, an Everett-based branding and marketing firm. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

This highly participatory workshop will engage a wide cross-section of industry and community partners in a Regional Brand Discovery Process, with discussions focused on identifying and distilling each visitor region’s key unique attributes and points of differentiation. To focus the conversation, Future iQ will present its results and findings of the June 2018 Future Think Tank Tourism Workshops, and Milltown Creative Company will present Snohomish County’s new visitor-facing tourism brand, Seattle NorthCountry.

Agenda for the Regional Brand Workshops

  • Registration and Welcome
  • Review and discuss findings and results of the Future Think Tank Tourism Workshops
  • Introduction of the new Snohomish County visitor-facing tourism brand

The Regional Brand Discover Process will explore the type of visitor each region seeks to attract and identify regional attributes and points of differentiation that will be specifically appealing to the identified visitor. A particular focus will be on cultivating a regional brand that will support and build on the successful launch of the Seattle NorthCountry countywide brand.
