Nature of Impact x Preparedness x Importance – average points

This chart combines responses to three questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the average results based on all respondents. The chart is structured as follows:

X-Axis is the response to the question “Considering your answers to the above questions, how positive or negative do you think the changes will be within each topic area?” The scale is -5 Very negative, +5 Very Positive.
Y-Axis is the response to the question “How well prepared is Wayzata to adapt to these changes?” The scale is 1-Not at all prepared, 5 -Very well prepared.
Size of the dot is the response to the question “Please indicate how important you think the following topics are to the future of Wayzata” The scale is 1-Not Important, 5 -Critically Important.

Key things to note:

The most critical factors are located in the bottom left side of the quadrant, which represent the issues that respondents believe will have a negative impact on Wayzata and perceive Wayzata to be unprepared for.
Several bigger circle factors (high importance) are towards the ‘very negative’ end of the X axis and towards the ‘not at all prepared’ end of the Y axis, which shows that respondents believe that several factors of high importance are also factors that Wayzata is perceived to be unprepared for, and also have the potential to negatively impact Wayzata.
Conversely, several bigger circle factors (high importance) are towards the ‘very positive end of the X axis and towards the ‘very well prepared’ end of the Y axis, which shows that respondents believe Wayzata to be appropriately prepared for dealing with those factors which will positively impact the future of Wayzata.
