James started his career in the London financial markets working for several of the leading international financial institutions and trading houses where he developed his passion for commodities, logistics, and global trade.
He went on to incorporate his own group of companies producing and trading in physical commodities and derivatives
In his most recent corporate role as Director of sales and business development for the award winning organizations ‘DMCC’, he successfully positioned and took the company on to achieve unprecedented growth and helped further develop it into the largest and fastest growing Free Zones in the World.
Over the past 12 years he has been involved with the development and operations of this stunning development, creating a city within a city, and taking it from its foundations to a seventy tower mixed use Free Zone community. He has specifically been responsible for driving business growth and enabling it to achieve recognition as the Global Free Zone of the year, every year since 2015.
As an entrepreneur and business development professional he has solid experience with all aspects of advancing business streams and scaling companies across a wide range of industry sectors.
His particular areas of expertise include advanced sales strategies, big data and predictive analytics, and as a keen supporter of innovation and Blockchain enthusiast he was also a founding member of the Dubai ‘Global Blockchain Council’.
As a Special Economic Zone expert he now advises government and private sector Investors and developers on all aspects of developing and running global Zones.
