Infrastructure and Resource Management Focus

Infrastructure and Resource Management Focus

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about Infrastructure and Resource Management. The question was:

Park City is facing significant developmental and resource management issues in areas such as water, public spaces, energy and waste. Technology is helping create new solutions, but many of these are costly and take time to implement. Thinking about how the community should tackle infrastructure and resource management issues, what do you think should be the approach?

Scale: 1= ‘Limited investment focused on basic critical infrastructure’; 10 = ‘Invest heavily in leading edge resource management’

Key things to note:

  • There is a strong orientation towards investing heavily in leading edge resource management.
  • There was recognition of the need for ‘cost solutions’ throughout the Vision 2020 process in relation to investing in changes, however the topic of improved infrastructure and resource management was a predominant theme throughout the Vision 2020 process.
