Dr Igor Calzada is a Lecturer, Senior Research Fellow and Policy Adviser at the University of Oxford. He works with private firms, regional governments, NGOs, consultancies and city authorities on how to experiment regionally-rooted further democratic and citizen-centric approaches based on living labs and data-driven environments. Igor is also giving advice to the European Commission H2020 Framework programme on Smart Cities and Communities and is the European coordinator of the ESRC Urban Transformations programme.
