Throughout 2020, the City of Smithville undertook an update of the Comprehensive Plan. This plan is a foundational document to guides land-use and planning decision over the next 10 years, as well as the the evolution of the community and how it looks and feels. The Plan is a thoughtful, achievable and sustainable roadmap for community aspirations for the future. This process had a strong emphasis on community input and engagement.
