Heat Map – Scenario Matrix Validation Chart – Cohort Data

Heat Map – Scenario Matrix Validation Chart – Cohort Data

The circles (or dots) in this chart represent the first level of averaging of the Scenario Validation data, derived by averaging the responses by primary cohorts (age, ethnicity and affiliation). In addition, the major Survey Sources are colour coded and added to the cohort breakdown.

The responses may be further filtered, using the filters’ drop-down menus to the right of the chart. The number of responses for each point on the chart may be seen by hovering over the circles within the graph, which also reveals the cohort details.

Key things to note:

  • The concentration of results mirrors to a significant degree the Preferred Future, which is an encouraging observation of behaviour matching aspiration.
  • Again, the Think-Tank and public engagement survey groups most closely map over the preferred future, with the two student cohort groups dragging the concentration of responses to a more local focus, and back towards focusing on traditional strengthens. (use the Session Group filter).
