Impact of Trends

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about the impact of emerging trends on their life and future prospects. The question was:

In the next 10 years, how large an impact do you think the following emerging trend areas will have on your life and future prospects?

Scale: 1 = No impact; 10 = Massive impact.

Key things to note:

All four emerging trends were seen having a massive impact.
‘Technological revolutions’, followed by ‘Global demand for food, water and energy’ were seen as the trends that would have the largest impact.
